Sadaqah Sufra Senegal

Created in 2025, our organization's mission is to combat hunger and malnutrition by providing food aid to the poorest families in Senegal. We believe that no family should suffer from lack of food and we are committed to providing nutritious meals to people in need.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the support of our partners, we are putting in place sustainable initiatives to improve access to food and empower local communities. Each gift contributes to a better future for thousands of families.

Present on the ground, Dedicated to the Daily

At Sadaqah Sufra Senegal, our commitment does not stop behind a screen or online campaign. Every exit, our team mobilizes on the ground, alongside families, in neighbourhoods, villages and streets.

With heart, energy and determination, our volunteers travel through the most affected areas to identify real needs, distribute donations and listen to recipients. Their active presence is the key to our impact: to act where there is urgency, with humanity and efficiency.

Food distribution

  • Quarterly distribution of 300 food parcels
  • 200 monthly meals in areas of high vulnerability.
  • Implementation of a food sponsorship program to support 10 families continuously for 6 months.
Medical and health assistance

Medical and health assistance

  • Distribute 100 basic medical kits every two months.
  • Help 20 families per quarter cover all or part of their medical prescriptions (prescribed drugs not reimbursed).
Specific Support for Women and Children

Specific Support for Women and Children

  • Provide kits of hygiene products to 50 women per quarter.
  • Provide nutritional supplements (infant milk, enriched cereals) to 50 mothers with young children every quarter.
Strengthening the Organization's Management Framework

Strengthening the Organization's Management Framework

  • Develop an additional network of 20 volunteers/facilitators in targeted neighbourhoods to facilitate the implementation of Sadaqah Sufra's goals in the field.
  • Establish a monitoring and evaluation system for the action plan.

  • Increase the visibility of the association on social networks with the systematic publication of actions on the ground.

  • Organize a fundraising campaign each quarter to implement the above objectives.

Founder of Sadaqah Sufra Senegal

A committed project based on the urgency to act in the face of a glaring reality. I founded Sadaqah Sufra Senegal to combat poverty and respond to a human distress that has deeply affected me.

In remote rural areas such as Ourossogui, as well as in some disadvantaged areas of Dakar, many families live in daily uncertainty, not knowing what their next meal will be.

Faced with this alarming situation, I realized that inaction was no longer an option.

That is why I have formed a dedicated and committed team, which regularly works on the distribution of essential foodstuffs: rice, milk, oil, millet, sugar, among others.

Beyond food aid, we bring relief, hope and dignity to those who need it most.

Sadaqah Sufra Senegal is much more than a project: it is a true mission of solidarity, a call for collective responsibility, an invitation to act together to build a more just and humane future.
